As it is a solid form of carbon, it also balances the global CO2 challenge..

We believe that modern people are exposed to an increasing amount of toxins in our daily lives. Our tap-water is polluted by fertilisers, the air we breathe is polluted by petrol fumes and the beauty products we use often contain cheap chemicals that end up trapped in our body. Therefore, Sort of Coal have specialized in producing beautiful and functional White Charcoal products that naturally purifies air, water and body.

This site is a division of Sort Of Coal ApS, a company incorporated in Denmark, whose registered office is Store Strandstræde 19, Baghuset, 1255 København K, Denmark,. Our registration number is CVR: 31167760. The following terms and conditions listed below apply between you and Sort Of Coal for the sale and purchase of the items purchased through this site. The terms do not affect your statutory rights.

By ordering a product you accept these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, and it is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions regularly before ordering products in the event of changes having been applied.



Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. Sort Of Coal ApS aim to ensure that the pricing of products on the web pages are correct at all times, however, this site may not accurately reflect the correct details at the moment at which your order is placed. Sort Of Coal ApS cannot confirm the price of a product until your order is accepted and reserves the right to change prices without prior notice.



Availability of Goods

Information on the availability of any given product is listed by each individual product. All items are typically dispatched within 5 working days. In the event that we have insufficient stock to deliver the required goods, your credit card will not be charged until your order is dispatched.

When you have completed your order you will be sent an e-mail confirming your order. It will state what the products are, the cost (including VAT and P&P) and delivery and invoice details. If your order has been unsuccessful you will be made aware of the reason why and possible explanations.



Our Contract

A legally binding contract between you and us will be formed when we send you an email confirming that we have despatched the product(s) to you. This email shall represent our legal acceptance of the offer you made to purchase the product(s) when you completed your order. If we confirm to you that some but not other products that you have ordered have been despatched, those product(s) that have not been despatched will not form part of our contract with you. In the event of any change e.g. in price or expected delivery date between completion of your order and contract formation, we shall inform you and you shall at that point have the right to either (1) accept such change (in which case your email reply will represent a new offer which we will accept upon notification of dispatch) or (2) reject such change (in which case your email reply will represent a withdrawal of your order, or the relevant part of your order as the case may be).



Payment

All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, your order will not be accepted and Sort Of Coal ApS will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. Shipping

Deliveries through Sort Of Coal’s webshop are handled either by Post Danmark, DPD, Blue Water or Fed-Ex. We ship to addresses worldwide, but cannot deliver to PO boxes. Track-and-trace reference numbers can be sent via email upon request. The selection of shipping and delivery method is done by Sort Of Coal according to the weight, the volume and, in some circumstances, the fragility of the package. The shipping and delivery cost is detailed during the purchase process. Shipping and delivery costs can change at any time without prior notification.



Returns

In accordance with Danish law, you as a consumer, have the right to claim lack of conformity for a two year period after purchase. Sort Of Coal products are of the highest quality, yet products of nature may vary in size and quality. Binchotan can break during boiling, which does not effect it’s performance, therefore broken or cracked Binchotan will not be replaced or refunded. If you have altered or used a product in any way which may be deemed as misuse, the right to invoke lack of conformity is annulled. In the event of a complaint with the period of 7-24 months after purchase, you must prove that an error was present at the time of purchase. In any event, please contact Sort Of Coal before returning the product.


Sales to Business

Businesses do not have the right to regret a purchase. The right to evoke lack of conformity is limited to a one-year period.



Force majeure

Sort Of Coal ApS shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.



Limitation of Liability

Although we take every care to ensure accuracy, we make no warranties as to the accuracy of the information we place on our web pages. The extent of our liability for any breach of these terms and conditions shall be limited to the value of the goods ordered by you in the relevant transaction, however nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit Sort Of Coal ApS liability for death or personal injury as a result of Sort Of Coal ApS negligence.

Contracts between you and Sort Of Coal ApS shall be governed by Danish Law and you and Sort Of Coal ApS submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts.
